ClearTriage
ClearTriage provides two tools to help with symptom-based calls in ambulatory care clinics and call centers:
First and foremost is ClearTriage itself, a decision support and documentation tool for telephone triage nurses. It is an easy-to-use yet powerful online version of the Schmitt-Thompson telephone triage protocols.
ClearTriage helps create the documentation for each call and stores that note in any EMR or other system. Our customers use ClearTriage with Epic, Cerner, athenahealth, Centricity, Allscripts, eClinicalWorks and dozens more. Features include protocol customization, reports, telemedicine-referral guidance, and care advice handouts that can be sent to callers by email or text.
We also offer SymptomScreen, a tool to improve the prioritization of calls by non-clinical staff answering your phones. A short series of symptom-specific questions support quick prioritization without requiring clinical decision-making skills.
Hundreds of organizations rely on our solutions to support thousands of triage nurses and non-clinical staff. We’d be happy to arrange a web demo of either solution, or you can sign up for a 30-day free trial to see how they work in your organization. ClearTriage is also proud to offer several short telephone triage videos on our website created in partnership with Carol Rutenberg, MNSc, RN-BC, C-TNP..
