A Template for Nurses: Supporting the Business Case for Care Coordination and Transition Management
To help nurses cost-effectively promote health and improve outcomes, experts have written a series of articles for AAACN’s “Perspectives in Ambulatory Care” column in Nursing Economic$.
The series presents templates, tools, and strategies focused on building successful business cases to leverage the role of the CCTM RN. Authors encourage nurses to study and disseminate their results to expand the literature.
These efforts are imperative to fully realizing the economic value and unique contributions of nurses practicing at the top of their license and effecting transformation in health care.
The first installment in the series, published in the July/August 2020 issue of Nursing Economic$, describes three qualitative descriptive style interviews from successful nurse executives and provides thematic analysis.
